What to Include in your Module Introduction and Conclusion
The Module Introduction page houses content that will be displayed to learners at different times.
Module Introduction
Clicking on any module tile from the Course Outline Page will reveal the Module Introduction and Conclusion.
The Module Introduction is the first page learners see when starting an Amplifire course. Here are some elements you might want to include:
- Logo (optional)
- Course Description (Module 1 only): An informational/engaging blurb about the course topic, plus a high-level description of the purpose of the course.
- Example: Hypertensive disorders of pregnancy have increased in the US in the past two decades and are a leading cause of maternal and neonatal illness and death. It is important to properly identify and understand the causes of these hypertensive disorders for the best and most timely diagnosis, management, and treatment for both maternal patient and infant. This training will cover the various hypertensive disorders in pregnancy.
- Module Learning Objectives:
- Example: By completing this module, learners will / will be better able to:
- Identify the classifications of hypertension in pregnancy
- Recall criteria for adequate diagnosis of each classification
- Categorize signs and risk factors for each classification
- Use proper management and treatment options
Module Conclusion
The Module Conclusion screen appears once a learner has completed a module. The Module Conclusion is a good place to include your logo, as well as some of the following language:
- "Please continue to Module 2 to complete your course."
- "Please complete the following survey to share your feedback about this learning experience."
- "Click here to view the citations used for this course."
- "Click here to access [resources]."
